The primary focus of the BAB is the effective operation of the branch in services to its constituents and pursuit of the Association’s goals and priorities. The Board also serves as the key relationship-builder for the branch in their community for contributions, volunteers and collaborations in support of the success of the branch. Board Requirements 1. Be elected to serve a three-year term with an annual renewal option. ( Three term limit) 2. Attendance at Branch Board and/or Committee Meetings. At least 60% of meetings. 3. Meaningful personal gift to the branch Annual Campaign and/or Capital Campaigns. 4. Ensure the successful completion of annual fund raising goals through active leadership including recruiting volunteers and soliciting gifts. 5. Participation in board- designated special events. 6. ‘Friend-raising’ for the YMCA in the community and BAB circles of influence. 7. Be a resource and ‘sounding board’ for the Branch Executive Director, as needed. 8. Ensure that member and program participant- satisfaction goals are met. 9.
