The Board meets 6 times yearly, along with one additional Annual Meeting. The meetings are bi-monthly (every other month) on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 6 PM. We also have a site in Seattle Washington for which some Board oversight is provided. Board Requirements Board members must have a passion for assisting youth and adults with mental health and/or dual diagnosis of substance use issues. Attendance is required at 4 out of the 6 meetings (as well as attendance at our Annual Meeting). Members are encouraged to serve on one of the Board's four committees, dependent on their interest and skills. We have Board members who work in and outside the service area. Onboarding Individuals interested in becoming a Board Member, must submit a Board application and resume (optional) and attend a meeting to share their interest in being considered for membership to the IKRON Board. In addition, the individual will meet with IKRON's CEO and take a tour of the IKRON building to see first-hand what services we provide to the community and meet some of the staff and individuals we serve. Afterward, a member of the Board's Executive Committee will contact the candidate to inform her or him, if she or he has been selected to join the Board.
