We have a variety of skills, but are looking into succession planning as several board members will be leaving in the next several years. One of our beloved board members passed away this summer. We would like to diversify our board to include members with business expertise, fundraising or development experience. We will be needing a board member to head the finance committee in the upcoming years. Board Requirements Attendance at board meetings, once a month on the second Thursday at 6PM. Please let members know if you cannot make it. Please do not miss more than three meetings a year. No financial commitment, but board members are encouraged to participate in events, fundraising, committees and school development. We are an independent Catholic elementary school. Any volunteer activities involving contact with children will require a member to be VIRTUS trained with appropriate, required background checks. Onboarding Introduction at three board meeting, attendance at a committee meeting of choice. If interested in joining the board after those meetings, a formal application will be accepted. Will be paired with a tenured board member for onboarding and questions.
