Behringer-Crawford Museum

About us Incredible artistry. Colorful personalities. Engaging music. Northern KY’s arts, culture and history live at BCM. Opened in 1950, BCM has transformed into a regional cultural center, linking the 235,000-item collection of objects, artifacts, documents, photographs, textiles and paintings with music, dance, theater readings, and lectures for art, cultural and historical context and active community engagement. In consonance with our mission, "The regional history of Northern Kentucky as part of the Ohio Valley must be preserved for the benefit of present and future generations. Therefore, the Behringer-Crawford Museum is a center for the collection, presentation, study and enjoyment of our natural, cultural, and visual and performing arts heritage", BCM serves not only as a repository but as a community gathering place while the current history of the region takes shape.
