About us Established in 1976, the Brown County Humane Society (BCHS) is dedicated to the care and well-being of animals in Brown County, Ohio by improving the lives of all animals and educating our community about proper and responsible care. BCHS is committed to placing the animals that come in through cruelty, neglect, homelessness or owner surrenders into permanent, loving homes.
