What we needDonor Relations and Foundation Coordinator, Volunteer Job DescriptionPosition: The Donor Relations and Foundation Coordinator is a volunteer position for a person who is passionate about supporting families who have a seriously ill child. The Donor Relations Coordinator will be detail oriented, tech-savvy and have a strong sense of initiative and excellent organization skills for this position. This position works closely with our CEO to continue our stewardship plan efforts for donor retention and help us meet our fundraising goals. The ideal person will be able to work well in a fast-paced, energetic environment with a positive attitude and impeccable time-management skills. This individual should be comfortable working autonomously as well as with volunteers and teammates and must excel at managing multiple tasks and execute them quickly, efficiently, and meticulously. Responsibilities: Be familiar with all reVIV program and funding needs and be able to articulate those needs clearly to donors Manage gift acknowledgement process including gifts to donors Manage direct mail projects including vendor and customization of appeals Reporting and analysis of donor segments via donor database Assist with donor cultivation via phone, email and mail Manage Facebook fundraisers and reporting Support do-it-yourself fundraisers and reporting Support volunteers with Stewardship Plan Assist with workplace giving and applications Support volunteer small gifts committees Recruit, coach and support corporate giving groups Presenting/Speaking at community engagements Must maintain the confidentiality of all families and resources Must adhere to all volunteer guidelines and attend all training required by reVIV Must adhere to all guidelines in place at community organizationsSkills and Qualifications: Have a passion for helping families who have a child with a critical diagnosis or facing a prolonged hospital stay Have experience fundraising Have experience with public speaking Have working knowledge of Google Drive and Docs Have experience supervising others and the ability to work as a team to accomplish a common task Be able to work independently with minimal supervision Possess a valid driver’s license and insurance with a clean driving record This position is approximately 20-40 hours per month with more hours around major events
