🎓Senior Spotlight🎓
Featuring: Sam
Sam is a senior at St. Xavier High School and loves all things music! During his time in school, he joined several music groups, gave guitar lessons to classmates and formed a band known as The Thrifters. Despite his music and academic achievements, Sam endured hardship that left his life stressful. As an older brother, he cared for his younger siblings and worked hard to keep his family together. After battling homelessness, Sam and his brother joined Boys Hope Girls Hope and were afforded opportunities that they didn’t previously have. Sam credits BHGH with providing stability in his life and assurance that his younger brother will be taken care of once he leaves for college.
Sam firmly believes that “God shows us the hard in the world because we can’t fix it unless we see it.” He is dedicated to making a change in his community and looks forward to teaching youth this summer at a local program.
In the fall, Sam will be attending the University of Cincinnati and hopes to one day work on the business side of the music industry!
