As a volunteer, you’ll be interacting with guests, answering content and directional questions, and ensuring the safety of artifacts. You’ll work alongside staff to welcome and engage with guests in our temporary and traveling exhibits. Exhibits change regularly so there is always something exciting and new.
Students who enter this long-term college/career prep program are trained to have an impact on the Museum Center’s youngest visitors. Participants are taught early childhood theory, developing and presenting educational demonstrations to the visitors.

We are always looking for tour guides to help lead our free bi-monthly tours. Every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month, the Friends offer a free public tour to the first 20 people who sign up. The tour begins at the Market Center at 10am and lasts about 30 minutes.
