Volunteer at Sunflower Rev It Up for Parkinson’s.

We collect and distribute school supplies, food, new clothes and toys, blankets and other gifts to neighborhood residents.

After-school tutoring, from 4:15-5:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday. Students receive a light meal before tutoring begins.

Located across the street from the church, this “store” where everything is free, offers food items, clothing, and household goods. It is open Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.

Help serve the evening meal, work in the dish room, and assist with clean up.

Help with food pick ups through the week. We are in desperate need for help in this area!

Help wrap silverware, prepare drinks and dinner prep for the evening meal.

Our volunteers each commit to one day a week to respond to 10-15 of the most recent stories at avfti.org. All of our volunteers must be comfortable talking online about sexual violence, and talking with people about their experiences.

When disaster strikes, The Salvation Army is there to help. Volunteering to assist The Salvation Army during emergency situations requires special training.
