Maintain a clean and welcoming museum environment by assisting with sweeping, dusting, tidying and fixing. General handy-person skills will be utilized in a number of specific projects. Grounds maintenance may include planting, weeding, watering, picking up trash and sweeping.

Set-up, tear-down, AV equipment needs and refreshments for specific events, lectures or book discussions.

Conduct research on your choice of topics related to the Friends of Harriet Beecher Stowe House. Research can be used to develop programs, lectures and tours and can provide additional resources for visitors and volunteers.

Assist with site prep and event setup as we prepare for vendors and guests.

Assist staff with cleaning event space and serving as general staff to help visitors and ensure quality of event.

Assist with site tear down at end of event

Help weed, plant, and upkeep our garden.

Help deliver the vegetables to those in need. Three of the community gardens are located in Mt. Auburn and our main garden is located behind our building.

Help at the largest paddling celebration in the nation.

Seniors 50 and older compete in the Southwest Ohio Senior Olympics (April-May) in a variety of athletic events. You’ll help time, keep score and show hospitality.
