Third Party Fundraisers are a great way to be involved! Host a fundraiser of your own! Gather a group to host small fundraisers such as a bake sale, car wash or pub crawl to raise funds for the many needs our families may have. Or arrange a supply/donation drive for items from our wish list.

Prepare and serve breakfast at the shelters on Saturdays or Sundays in Fairmount or Bond Hill. Volunteers can cook breakfast at home and heat it upon arrival or cook in our fully equipped kitchens.

Help with routine activities such as mowing trails, equipment maintenance, brush removal, invasive plant control and general clean up. They also manage structural repairs to the barns, farmhouse and construction projects.

Help develop, facilitate or organize outdoor programs and events for all ages to have fun learning and playing outside! Areas of focus include: environmental science, outdoor recreation, history and fine arts.

Volunteer quilters gather in the Interpretive Center to work on their own fabric art and then work together for several months to create a gorgeous quilt to raffle off in the Fall. (Wednesday evenings, 5-7pm)

Help take care of our Front, Woodland and Rain Gardens from March until November. Enjoy the therapeutic quiet and work with your hands with other like-minded volunteers. We are running a National Fitness Challenge at several of our Clubs. This event includes different activity stations that our Club members will rotate through. We are looking for a volunteer group to help our kids rotate from station to station!

This is a team-building opportunity for corporate, work groups, church, temple or community groups to help with sorting and various facilities projects.

HEMI is always seeking new audiences to spread the word about our program and how members of our community can support the program. Host an information session at work, or your place of worship, or with your friends and family and help us find long-term adult supporters for Hamilton County foster youth.
