Volunteers plan, implement and assure a positive experience during social engagement events/activities for people living with memory loss and their care partners.

Volunteers serve as a liaison between the Alzheimer’s Association and local faith groups and congregations by sharing information about Alzheimer’s disease, free resources offered through the Association, and the ways to join our cause at local community events.

Volunteers create a safe, open environment where people share their feelings, thoughts and experiences in a combined effort to better cope with and manage the shared problems of dementia.

Professionals with 10+ years of business experience with skills to provide consulting or coaching to nonprofits in their field of expertise.

Provide information regarding victim rights and referrals to other services, emotional support, assist with financial restitution, and accompaniment to appointments such as health, legal, and law enforcement. Volunteers have constant, ongoing communication with our dedicated staff.

Help with the intake and processing of new guests. (computer skills required)

Work 1-on-1 with Healing Center guests to help them achieve financial and/or career success.

Provide group instructions in areas such as ESOL, high school equivalency, computers, cooking, and more.
